VNV Nation Compendium Tour

VNV Nation hit New York City Halloween weekend, ending their twelve date Compendium Tour, playing some of their greatest hits over the past twenty years at the PlayStation Theater! VNV played and sang out their heart for three hours straight, as the audience dance and sang along as favorites were played, from the first album, “Advance and Follow”, to the recent, “Transnational”. Vocalist Ronan Harris also recounted some memories from past performances in New York City at former haunts no longer present in the NYC goth/industrial/synthpop scene, like almost setting a speaker on fire with road flares used during a show at the Albion-Batcave, back in 1999. However the big surprise came towards the end, when Harris brought out Stephan Groth, of Apoptygma Berzerk, to perform “Kathy’s Song (Come Lie Next To Me)”, as the audience erupted into cheers.
