Keep your skin perfectly porcelain this summer or get that dramatic look for Halloween or cosplay with this week’s Item of the Week. The White Pressed Powder Compact by Stargazer Cosmetics is a must have if you have porcelain or fair skin and a great tool for over the top looks. Its oil-free formula is safe for sensitive skin and delivers a long-lasting dry white finish. This pressed powder can be worn on its own, applied over foundation, or worn as a highlight. For a flawless finish, apply a light dusting of powder all over the face with a foundation brush. In areas that need more coverage, push the side of your brush into the compact, then press and roll it into place onto your skin.

This compact is the perfect addition to your makeup kit that can be used all year round but it’s also great for Halloween or cosplay makeup. Set in a mirrored compact, you can keep in your purse for touch-ups throughout the day. Defeat the heat and pair with a parasol, a summer accessory fit for every ghostly princess!

Stargazer Cosmetics established their cosmetic brand in 1978. Based in Croydon, a borough on the outskirts of London, they produce most of their products in-house. Stargazer Cosmetics has expanded their product lines considerably since then and are now offering a wide range of cosmetics and hair coloring products in an array of wild, in your face colors. The White Pressed Powder Compact is available through Stargazer Cosmetics’ online store, at Tragic Beautiful, and from distributors worldwide.

  1. I’m sorry to say this powder leaves your face noticeably White, so if you want to wear it on an everyday Basis, make sure your workplace is goth-approved. Mine sadly isn’t, which is why I had to give away the powder again.
Plus, I find Mineral cosmetics (like and Bamboo Silks way more affordable and a ton easier to work with (some even have a whitening effect, if that’s what you’re after), and they last longer and are much healtier for your Skin.

    1. This compact is great for bold going out looks or cosplay more so than work. Thanks for the makeup recommendations, we’ll check them out!
