Ovate’s Spring-Summer 2016 Collection is a beautiful line of unique basics that will freshen and update any darkly inclined wardrobe.
On March 12th Ovate released their Spring-Summer 2016 Collection. Ovate is based in Montreal, Canada and designs handcrafted garments focusing on deconstruction, distressing, garment-washing, and hand-dyeing. The new collection consists of clean and elegantly simple pieces that can act as building blocks and basics in your wardrobe. It includes grays and whites, which are good in the sun and can offer some new styling avenues, but it still remains dark in mood and subtly haunting. There are many tempting options to choose from: dresses, skirts, tops, pants, jackets, and accessories.
The Mathilde Short Sleeve Linen Dress with Collar is a highlight. The collar gives this simple dress a lot of character. While the linen fabric gives it a natural feel that is perfect for warmer weather. Linen makes this dress a bit more elevated than the many polyester black collared dresses that are out there.
The Linen T-Shirt Dress comes in black and charcoal. This dress is so versatile. You could wear it alone with sandals, over leggings, or as a swimsuit coverup.
