Over the last few years, Urban Decay has successfully breathed life into the humble neutral with their uber popular Naked palette series and as such have managed to create quite the reputation for themselves. I don’t know that they were the household name that they are today before they launched the Naked palette. Either way, after these many years of neutrals even the most conservative of us would be begging for a little bit of color. Don’t get me wrong, my Naked palettes are my go-to for all of my everyday makeup looks, but sometimes you want to get a little bit chaotic and a little bit colorful, and for these times Urban Decay has given us a new palette called Electric. With eight brand new shades and a couple that we have previously seen, the Electric palette offers up a wonderful collection of colors that can be combined into a variety of looks. As UD eyeshadows are known for, these colors blend together amazingly, and offer up a nice balance between matte shadows and metallics. Like their Naked series, the Electric palette is one that I think will stand the test of time and will be a go-to for most people when they’re looking for a little more than just the average neutral shade.
The Electric Pressed Pigment Palette is available online for $49 at www.urbandecay.com.
