Yesterday drone folk singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe released a music video for “Feral Love” off her latest album Pain is Beauty. It is a hunting video directed by Mark Pellington who has directed videos for a whole ton of notable artists and is known for his music video for Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy”. This video is part of a film titled Lone that Pellington and Wolfe collaborated on and that will be released in a streaming format and on custom-designed USB drives available through Chelsea Wolfe’s online store. On a side note, Wolfe’s look in this video is great, all black, fur and a flowing dress, paired with sharp jewelry pieces, and classic yet dark makeup made unnerving with full eye blackout contacts. You’ll probably be hearing Chelsea Wolfe all over this year if this track being recently featured in Game Of Thrones’ season 4 trailer is any indicator.
