How could I pick just one music video from Peter Murphy to celebrate his 56th birthday? So many classic Bauhaus clips: “Bela Lugosi’s Dead”, “She’s in Parties”, “Telegram Sam”. His solo breakthrough “Cuts You Up”. Or perhaps something brand new. How about this: strip away the fog machines and strobe lights, the art direction and choreography and just put him in a studio to jam with Trent Reznor and Twiggy on a beautiful ballad. You get one of his best vocal performances ever captured: “A Strange Kind of Love”.
