This season will have a few experimental color choices to play with, but one look that never dies is the red lip. Now personally I am more of a gloss girl myself, so when I got to try the super pigmented Carousel Gloss by Lime Crime I was ecstatic. Finally a lip gloss with some staying power! Carousel Gloss comes in a variety of shades but my top three choices currently are Candy Apple, Present, and Cherry On Top. And let’s not forget the cruelty free pledge, that’s right, they are cruelty free and most of the products are vegan too! Candy Apple is a deep red, it’s perfect for pairing with a form-fitting black dress for that date night you’ve been planning. The creamy berry coloring of Present is a shade that reminds me of my lace and velvet pieces, paired with some web stockings and an ankh necklace. Oh so goth. And last but not least is Cherry on Top, because damn it sometimes you just want to wear your favorite band tees and ripped jeans, or maybe go the pin up route and pair with a vintage print bikini and bandana.
