Today is the last date of Combichrist’s Demons on Tour; this stretch also featuring Julien-K, Aesthetic Perfection, and Dismantled. Last weekend the whole Auxiliary crew had the chance to see the tour in Buffalo, NY.

I can honestly say that every band put on a very solid performance. There was no waiting through painful opening bands this night. Dismantled started the night, followed by Aesthetic Perfection, then Julien-K, and ending the night Combichrist. And there was no waiting through “guy standing behind laptop pressing buttons”. Each act was a full band, live drums, and energetic performances.
A nice little side note to the music is the number of fashionable males preforming on this tour. Gary Zon of Dismantled had on an awesome industrial/cyberpunk feel vest and pulled off the look, which I think few men figure out how to. Daniel Graves of Aesthetic Perfection’s choice of vest and tie over wife-beater was questionable but I think worked surprisingly well. Ryan of Julien-K looked exceptionally good in what I took as a tribute to Andrew Eldritch.

After the show all the bands hung out around the merch tables to mingle with the crowd. An “afterparty” of sorts followed at the venue and then moved to the nearby Club Diablo. I would say be sure to check out a date on this tour when it passes near you, but we caught it toward the end and as I said tonight is the last posted date. BUT I’m sure all these bands will have new dates soon and be sure to catch one of those.
