Auxiliary Magazine will not be releasing a 2012 print calendar. We tried very hard to put it together, and got tons of great submissions, but in the end we could not get it to where we envisioned. We did want to share some of our top picks from the submissions and give you the chance to enjoy them! We have put together 6 wallpapers in multiple versions including wallpapers for the desktop of your computer and ones for the background and lock screen of your iPhone or Android phone.

Zoetica Ebb and Plastik Wrap’s GHST RDR Skirt

The GHST RDR Skirt is a collaborative design by Zoetica Ebb and Plastik Wrap. If you’re not familiar with Zoetica Ebb, she is an artist, model, blogger, and co-founder of Coilhouse Magazine. It’s only fitting that this fantastic duo created such a dramatic, yet simple skirt. I like that the skirt drapes the body, and the back strap detail offers a nice structural element to the garment.
The GHST RDR Skirt by Zoetica Ebb and Plastik Wrap is available online at www.plastikarmy.com.

Toronto ON, March 20 - Toronto based fashion designer known for their sophisticated cyber wears, Plastik Wrap is hosting their spring edition of The Bazaar of the Bizarre in Toronto this weekend. The Bazaar of the Bizarre is sort of like a craft show but the way you’ve always dreamed one could be with unique and alternative vendors, from artists, to craftsman, to fashion designers, and more. The spring editions, such as this one, are circus sideshow themed (in fall they offer a Halloween themed edition).
Some of the vendors this year include Plastik Wrap and BitchCraft of course, Fashion Whore, Dark Destiny Designs, Clockwork Zero, and more. You can view a full list of vendors HERE.
I attended last year’s spring Bazaar and it is a great event, not to miss! You can pick up all sorts fun stuff for yourself or it really makes a great place to shop for unique gifts. Last year I purchased a handsome zombie velvet throw pillow from Sew Scary (also vending this year) as part of a wedding gift, and the bride and groom loved it! (I’ve seen a sneaky photo from the bride of her husband cuddling the pillow in his sleep to prove it.)

Plastik Wrap’s PVC Oilslick Mini Gloves

The motorcycle style PVC Oilslick Mini Gloves by Plastik Wrap in burgundy are made from high gloss PVC that gives the glove an awesome latex-like appearance. I like the sleek design of the gloves as it can be paired with other wrist jewelry or wrist cuffs, as seen in the picture. At a $24 CAD price tag, these gloves will make a great gift for that friend on your list, while not breaking your piggy bank. If you really want to reward yourself for dealing with the crowds on Black Friday, throw a pair on your order for yourself, I won’t tell!
The PVC Oilslick Mini Gloves by Plastik Wrap are available online at www.plastikwrap.com.

Plastik Wrap’s Oxide 3/4 Length Riding Pants

Plastik Wrap’s newest addition to their amazing designs, the Oxide ¾ Length Riding Pants have really got Jennifer and I excited! We’re excited because not only are they made for summer with breathable material, but they are so edgy and versatile! I personally love that these pants are modeled after riding pants from by-gone eras, yet is an updated design in true Plastik Wrap style. The barcode detailing at the knee add a futuristic feel, while the deep side pockets are functional and also add a very militaristic feel to the garment. I would dress up the Oxide pants with a fitted dress shirt and a bow tie, or style them with a basic fitted black tee and heels for a late night dinner. You can’t argue with a fashionable and comfortable option in these sweltering hot summer months.
The Oxide 3/4 Length Riding Pants are available at www.plastikarmy.com.

Business woman, fashion designer, and stylish lady, we caught up with Adriana Fulop to talk about her highly successful clothing companies, Plastik Wrap and BitchCraft.

photographer : Billy Archos
fashion stylist : Adriana Fulop
models : Adriana Fulop, Robin Domander, Kassandra Merrit, and Giovani Pereira
interview by Vanity Kills
If you ever found yourself ignoring the plot of a sci fi action adventure flick due to the fact that your attention was fixated on sleek and sophisticated future fashion, you are not alone. Many of us longed for dresses seemingly made of polished chrome and punctuated with bursts of vivid color. Something to hold us over until neural implants with social networking capabilities become commercially available. Luckily, Plastik Wrap’s Adriana Fulop and Ryan Webber possess the creative genius and technical skill to keep you looking like android royalty straight out of the pages of a gripping cyberpunk thriller. They can’t hook you up with the aforementioned brain implants, nor with a prototype hover car, but they can infuse your life with a little artificial flavor by outfitting you in precisely tailored cyber apparel which flatter and accentuate both the male and female form.
Not quite ready to enlist in the plastik army just yet? If you crave high impact alt fashion with a more relaxed fit, then a sampling of Bitchcraft’s tasty offerings might be in order. Let Plastik Wrap’s Adriana Fulop and her creative partner Gabrielle Neveu tempt you with playfully dangerous body hugging tees adorned with prints of things that might hurt you if you’re not careful. Brass knuckles, scissors, syringes, and daggers, that’s what little girls are made of. In Bitchcraft’s world anyway. Those less fond off cutsey implements of torture can always hang with Mr. “Grumpy Octopus” or overdose on girlie glam in the “Tie Me Up Pretty” tee.
Old world elegance and love of quality craftsmanship fused with durable modern fabrics and space age trimmings on one end of the spectrum. Deliciously dark tees
you’ll want to live in on the other. How does Adriana Fulop do it all?
How would you describe Plastik Wrap’s current aesthetic? How did it evolve since the initial inception of the company?
Adriana Fulop : Initially we were designing simple, starch, space age styles. Which over time evolved into a darker, more utilitarian and avant-garde aesthetic. We haven’t focused on any one style category and have allowed ourselves to explore many interests, which has extended our tool set and fashion vocabulary. All of this combined has helped Plastik Wrap remain a design house that is very difficult to label. At least that is how I feel about it.
What’s the primary difference between your newest fashion endeavor, BitchCraft, and Plastik Wrap?
AF : BitchCraft is more playful, more of a fun evening project. Plastik Wrap is more like air to my lungs.
