Yeasayer’s new video directed by Andreas Nilsson for “Madder Red” is a bit bizarre. Oh Veronica why so sad? That thing is now in a better place.

(Just finished watching all three seasons of Veronica Mars on Netflix and now I can’t see Kristen Bell as anyone else.)

Yeasayer’s new album Odd Blood was released back in February and one of my favorite tracks off the album now has a video, “O.N.E.”, directed by Radical Friend (aka Kirby McClure and Julia Grigorian). The press release describes the scene as, “The post-apocalyptic setting of LA’s surrounding industrial wasteland provided the inspiration needed to helm Yeasayer’s provocative performance. The gameboard is based on actual charts and diagrams that represent the psychological warfare in which these otherworldly club kids engage.”

Personally I am glad I don’t have to wear those clothes, although some of you would die to live in a world where club dress was like this.
