Decadent Design’s Black Satin & Organza Neck Corset

AuxIOTWDecadentDesigns

Neck corsets are a serious weakness of mine, in fact most neck wear in general is something I encourage every woman (and man) to have a variety in their wardrobe. Accessories make my world go round and the drool factor is through the roof for Decadent Design’s Black Satin & Organza Neck Corset. The price for this lush piece is extremely reasonable as the neck corset is boned with ¼ inch steel boning, which means, it’s a real neck corset. Though not for the faint of heart, it takes some getting used to wearing such an apparatus, yet brings an impressive compliment to your outfit. The key to wearing such an over-the-top piece is to tone down your clothing and amp up the rest of your accessories with, textured leggings, wrist cuffs and possibly some small earrings. I suggest wearing your hair up to show off the gorgeous neck ruffle and not to cover up the nice corseted lace back.

The Black Satin & Organza Neck Corset is available online at www.decadentdesigns.ca.

Well, with all the talk around the Auxiliary Magazine office about Kinetik this year, I have begun to lust after lush novelties that my closet does not need.  With that being said, I do fully recommend you treating yourself now and again (and again, and again) to accessories that are extravagant, well made and jaw droppingly sexy!  Try on Skingraft’s Leather Garter Belt with attached bag, this way you can strut your stuff without wondering where your girlie necessities are, in other words, no purse needed!  If you’re daring enough to wear these beauties over a pair of hot pants, or take the more demure under-the-skirt route, true love with Skingraft designs will take a hold of you!  Hot damn, I love this garter belt!

Folter Clothing’s Sado Workshirt

AuxIOTW_Folter

There are a lot of cheesy workshirts out there for guys with patches that have on them “666”, “Evil”, or some random guy’s name.  Check out this Sado Workshirt by Folter Clothing and get a thumbs up in the non-cheese department!  I am really in love with the dominatrix’s faces, giving the graphic a whimsical feel to an otherwise normal sexual depiction.  I think few people know about Folter Clothing, yet you may have possibly spotted this brand at Hot Topic.  If you weed through the terrible stripper-esque fashions there are a hand-full of super sweet duds on Folter’s website!  Check it out!

The Sado Workshirt is available online at www.folterclothing.com.

T.U.K.’s Lolita Creepers

AuxIOTW_TUK

I giggled like a school girl when T.U.K. started making creepers for us girlie types! I’ve always been a huge fan of creepers and have love for the mondo soles, but I’ve always to shop men’s shoes for them. Now that I can find women’s creepers, I’m loving the idea of me wearing these white Lolita Creepers with a pair of rolled up black skinny jeans, one of my favorite combinations! My obsession with white creepers has stemmed from somewhere unknown, but I wanted to spread the word and share T.U.K.’s newest contribution to my closet! Viva La creepers!

The Lolita Creepers are available online at www.tukshoes.com.

Tatterdemalion Designs’ Posturing Aristocrat Collar

clokwork

Even though I have to admit the term “steampunk”, is starting to wear on me, but I do love victorian-esque designs. I find myself shopping steamy websites to appease my urge to party like it’s 1899 and a double thumbs up to Clockwork Couture’s website. This exclusive Posturing Aristocrat Collar by Tatterdemalion Designs made me swoon with delight. I love the ruffled design with the accent buttons! This collar is a versitile piece whether you’re bursting with steam, love the drama of lace and velvet, or enjoy stomping around in post apocoplytic gear. Choice of colors are black or brown, treat yourself and buy both!

Rock Steady’s Animal Pucker Dress

AuxIOTWrocksteady

As I’m staring out the window of my wintery Buffalo apartment, it’s hard for me to not shudder at the cold snow.  Whilst dreaming of sandy beaches, my fellow editor, Luke Copping, emailed me a link to Rock Steady’s home website. Oh my! The Animal Pucker Dress in zebra print has me praying to the weather gods for a heat wave! The ruffled strap has me swooning as  I daydream of sitting by the pool with a tiki drink in one hand and well, a tiki drink in the other! Of course all my friends in the warmer weather can flaunt in this awesomely priced Rock Steady sooner than I, so what’s stoppin’ you?!

Lip Service’s Mens LS Dagger and Skull Socks

AuxIOTWLSsocks

Whoa!  Lip Service is making socks!  I have to say I think this is pretty smart of them to infuse their cult classic symbol onto accessories.  Not only does Lip Service have a sweet looking brand symbol, it’s subtle enough without screaming, “I’m wearing a name brand!”.  My husband’s and my obsession with kitschy socks has got us excited about these!  I am especially fond of the black and green colorway but, I may have to purchase a few pairs in order to keep the peace in our house!  (I don’t share my socks!)  I love that the model is wearing these with a pair of shorts, as you need to rock these socks wearing your pants rolled up for the whole world to see.  Lippy socks, get some!

The LS Dagger and Skull Socks are available online at www.lip-service.com.

Jessica Louise’s Skull Charm Bow

AuxIOTW_LB

Jessica Louise may be best known for her cute tops at the mall store Hot Topic, but she has a lot more adorable items in store for you at www.jessicalouise.com.  I have to admit I want to own 90% of everything she makes, yet the Skull Charm Bow in black and white stripe really needs to belong in (my) everyone’s accessory collection!  My favorite part of the hair bow is the expression of the skull, its mouth looks like it’s sewn shut like a voodoo shrunken head.

Pair the Skull Charm Bow with a black cocktail dress or dress up an everyday outfit with a little cute and creepy couture!  The price is excellent at $8, so you can treat yourself to two, one for each side of your lovely head.  Get into Jessica Louise’s designs, you’ll thank me for it!

The Skull Charm Bow is available online at www.jessicalouise.com.

Cyberoptix Tie Lab’s Crash print tie

AuxIOTW_Cyberoptix

Happy Holidays!  Winter Solstice!  And all that December goodness!  Now that you’ve opened all your gifts and received that hideous reindeer tie from Grandma Martha, you can return it and get yourself a tie that doesn’t suck.  Cyberoptix Tie Lab presents Crash, a spider web pattern that simulates broken glass. What can I say other than it’s awesome!  The fact that this tie was inspired by the Normal’s song “Warm Leatherette” makes me want to wear it myself.  (For all of you who don’t know this song, go to iTunes right now and download it!)

The New Year is upon us and you’ll be invited to many parties, so this tie hits all the right notes to strike up conversations and help you to look suave as you’re ringing in 2010.  Ties aren’t just for formal occasions or for that 9-5 job, ties can be worn for an everyday look as an accessory.  Gasp!  Yes guys, you can accessorize!  Pair this snazzy tie with a nice button up, jeans, and a pair of converse for a sporty day look and then throw on a sport coat and change those shoes to boots and viola! you’re ready for a night on the town.  It’s easy and breezy and you need this tie because, “every girl’s crazy about a sharp dressed man.”

The Crash tie is available online at www.cyberoptix.com.
