I giggled like a school girl when T.U.K. started making creepers for us girlie types! I’ve always been a huge fan of creepers and have love for the mondo soles, but I’ve always to shop men’s shoes for them. As I’m staring out the window of my wintery Buffalo apartment, it’s hard for me to not shudder at the cold snow.  Whilst dreaming of sandy beaches, my fellow editor, Luke Copping, emailed me a link to Rock Steady’s home website. Lip Service’s Mens LS Dagger and Skull Socks

Whoa!  Lip Service is making socks!  I have to say I think this is pretty smart of them to infuse their cult classic symbol onto accessories.  Not only does Lip Service have a sweet looking brand symbol, it’s subtle enough without screaming, “I’m wearing a name brand!”.  My husband’s and my obsession with kitschy socks has got us excited about these!  I am especially fond of the black and green colorway but, I may have to purchase a few pairs in order to keep the peace in our house!  (I don’t share my socks!)  I love that the model is wearing these with a pair of shorts, as you need to rock these socks wearing your pants rolled up for the whole world to see.  Lippy socks, get some!

Jessica Louise’s Skull Charm Bow

Happy Holidays!  Winter Solstice!  And all that December goodness!  Now that you’ve opened all your gifts and received that hideous reindeer tie from Grandma Martha, you can return it and get yourself a tie that doesn’t suck.  Cyberoptix Tie Lab presents Crash, a spider web pattern that simulates broken glass. Plastik Wrap’s Cavalry spats

The Cavalry spats are a brand new item from Plastik Wrap this week!  Auxiliary Magazine had the first exclusive on this new design, they were featured in the Winter Manor editorial in the December 09 issue. In the Winter Manor coat editorial the Cavalry spats were paired with Plastik Wrap’s Historitek jacket that both shared a matching black brocade detailing.

The Cavalry spat design is very versatile and can be worn over a plain mid calf boot, granny boot, or even an ankle boot. The adjustable straps on the back of the spat are a nice feature for those that have smaller calves or can be left open to accommodate a fuller leg. My favorite part about this design is the lovely black brocade fabric that can be worn with many different types of outfit combinations. Mixing and matching is essential! For a bit bolder statement they are also available in red brocade.

Plastik Wrap is really starting to take on elements of those by-gone eras and incorporating them into their new designs. The new Cavalry spats will most definitely catch the hearts of all Plastik Wrap fans as well as start to get noticed by others that love some old timey flavor in their wardrobes.
