Shane is making a major splash in the fashion scene, while still maintaining a look that crosses many genres. COVEN by Sonia Kang is the one of the freshest jewelry designers hailing from Toronto, Canada. Her works are statement pieces that have a certain edgy style to them that was desperately lacking in the city. I am falling in love with the different works being created in 3D, and Archetype Z are one of those designers I am keeping my eye on. One of my favorite pieces by them is the Triangulated Cuff geometric bracelet in black. It’s very clean and structured yet also feels organic in some ways. Made in a lightweight plastic nylon, it’s strong and flexible, and will last you a long time. If you are looking to add something unique to your accessory collection, I’d give Archetype Z a look. For those who have everything (and I know we all have someone like that on the list) I get booze. It may be a cop out, but not when I look for an amazing accessory to go with it. I came across the perfect accompaniment to a couple bottles of red: the Heathen Gift Set of wine accessories. Made by Dellamorte & Co., it contains three separate pieces: the Dryad wine stopper, the Silenus corkscrew, and a wine stopper base, all done in resin to create breath-taking detail. Dellamorte is well known for its impeccable style and uniqueness. This particular set caught my attention for its folklore appeal, but I do recommend taking a look around. There is a wonderful Kraken corkscrew and stopper, which would go great with a nice bottle of rum of the same name. Like any good gift, it’s all about thinking of those you are buying for and catering to their tastes, but hopefully in a way that still expresses the gift-giver’s personality as well. Have no worries, if you’ve got that hard to shop for friend, I’m sure you can find something in the world of Dellamorte & Co. at the Gory Details shop to interest them.

I don’t know about everyone out there, but I believe bowties are cool. And this one tops my list on the cool factor, with its mix of square and circular studs and five-inch tall spikes on a black background.  Made by a duo of designers, two siblings, Poco and Chase are the masterminds behind Vile Broccoli Fur’s amazing spiked creations. This particular bowtie is handmade therefore each will be slightly different, which is something I value in handmade creations because each one is unique.
