The boys from Brooklyn are back, and more popular than ever. Yeasayer’s blend of experimental rock and psychedelic pop moves deeper into the dark with their new album Fragrant World and a supporting US wide tour.

As you read this, Yeasayer trot the globe, hauling out new songs and new takes on old songs for audiences in anticipation of the release of their third album, Fragrant World, on August 20th with label Secretly Canadian. Where Yeasayer have mined nuggets of inspiration from dance music, Middle-eastern, folk, and dub records on their two previous albums, you can hear them going headfirst for pop, albeit dark pop, on Fragrant World.
