Björk – All is Full of Love

It seems I cannot put one of these lists together lately without including a Chris Cunningham directed video.  While some may be more accustomed to the nightmare inducing qualities of some of his other projects, Cunningham shows here that he can direct with utter poise and beauty in the creation of this mechanical ballet.

Robots in Disguise – GIRL

Aside from being on of my favorite bands, Robots in Disguise makes seriously good videos.  Quite a jump from the silent film inspired “The Tears” to this over the top Kaiju robot battle.

Phenomonauts – Mission

You can’t have a giant robot rundown without some good old fashion pulpy goodness.  Distant planets, giant robots, sci-fi women, and a theremin equals a classic recipe for success.

Daft Punk – Technologic

I have a new phobia, this robot will haunt my dreams for all of eternity.

Beck – Hell Yes

How you really do the robot.

Herbie Hancock – Rockit

Jazz legend gets inorganic on us.

Kraftwerk – The Robots

A little obvious I know, but do you know how many music snobs will hunt me down if I don’t include this?
