new york fashion week : Rodarte fall 2011
Monday, March 7th, 2011
Rodarte showed their fall 2011 collection at NY fashion week. You have to love the length, I have been waiting for the opportunity to dress like a Jane Austen novel heroine for years and finally my time has come. The cool thing about this modern Victorian peasant look is the clean updates to long dresses, skirts, and jackets. Rodarte uses beautiful modern geometric fabric lines, and ditsy prints broken up by beautiful neutrals and contrasting fabrics like chiffon and heavy wools.

I thought a couple of these were ok
Nah/. changed my mind/
i guess some sort of evolution was inevitable but i kind of miss when their collections looked like a craft room explosion, this is just so girly.
@ gillian. Define girly
i guess i meant this seems very feminine and refined compared to their older collections which were more spikey, cracked and tattered. S2010, F2009, and F2008 were my favorites. I am going to hoop convergence!
