Miyu Decay’s Immortalis Collection is an amalgamation of the macabre, tribal, and mystical that inspires designer Stephanie Inagaki.
Recently Miyu Decay released their Immortalis Collection. Each piece is handmade and originally carved from wax by jewelry designer Stephanie Inagaki. Miyu Decay are based in Los Angeles and known for their signature bat skull design. This collection weaves together traditional Bavarian hunting amulets, passed beloved cats, and that signature bat skull. The line is suitable for both men and women and was designed with both in mind.
The bulk of the collection consists of chunky rings with fine details. There is the option of four different skull rings in different configurations. The Death Grip ring appears to be a simple skull ring but in fact the duel bands are bones, a unique detail. An alternate version of the ring, Death Grip with Talons Ring, takes the ring to a whole other level, almost a work of art that just happens to also be a piece of jewelry. The Charivari Ring is simple and stunning in it’s symmetry. The Geminus Ring is perhaps the most masculine with a solid wide band.
The Immortalis Necklace stands out as the signature piece of the collection. The necklace features two fruit bat skulls joined together with a crescent. It is available in silver or bronze. This is a bold piece that would really stand out in an outfit but it’s not so bold that it can’t be worn everyday.
The entire Immortalis Collection is available through Miyu Decay’s Etsy store.
