FAT Toronto ON, April 24 – Craig Renaud’s  S/S 2013 menswear collection at Toronto’s Arts and Fashion Week known as FAT was a surprise for me. He makes use of linen and wool almost entirely, and with a monochrome palette of black on black, he had some amazing pieces that would fit well into the everyday of our lives and yet bring a sense of personal presence to everyone who wore his clothing.

Presented by Seneca College, I truly wasn’t expecting to see this kind of sophisticated and solid collection. Well designed and constructed pieces that adorned the runway. Renaud has created a collection of dark, edgy menswear that is both practical and stylish. A guilty pleasure of well dressed vampires stalking me in the night awaited my dreams after viewing his well clad men.

And I hope sincerely to see much, much more from Craig Renaud.
